Happy New Year! We had such a wonderful year last year and this year is going to be even more exciting~ We should officially know where we will be going to dental school for the next 4 years on the 19th of this month. It is going to be an adventure and I am finally somewhat ok with the fact of going out of state and leaving my family for so long. It will be hard but fun. Hopefully our sweet parents will fly us home for Christmas. :) (wink wink) I quite enjoy the holidays. Not only do we stay up late almost every night playing games and talking but Chris is out of school for 3 weeks. It is so fun to hang out all the time after hardly seeing him during school. Sophie loves having her dad home and always has a hard time when he goes back to school. To wrap up this past month I am just going to upload some of my favorite pictures I have taken, which are still quite a few..

We started off the holidays making our annual Christmas goodies. Finally after 3 days we had everything completely finished. We haven't made that much in a long long time. It was a lot of fun though. A lot of messes and laughter!

We headed to Grandma and Grandpa Stenbergs to make Gingerbread houses and open presents

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Rees' and Grandma and Grandpa Giblette's. Needless to say Sophie had a lot of fun opening presents on several different nights. Sophie loves her blocks, especially when dumping them all out. She also like to watch them fall down our stairs. We gave her a barn with farm animals and she quite likes that as well. She got a mrs. potato head and mostly just likes putting the glasses on and looking like a super star so here she is in her finest!
